Annealing furnaces require no strict life and industry in industrial production, but environmental protection is necessary if conditions permit. In industrial production, the people of the annealing furnace know that the requirements for the water quality are not so strict in the annealing furnace. The unqualified water is not only a waste of resources, but it will affect the service life of the annealing furnace. So the water must be processed annealing.

The first thing to deal with is the water hardness, the state has a strict standard for the hardness of the water and water in the annealing furnace. The existence of calcium and magnesium plasma in the annealing furnace water will cause the increase of water hardness, and the ions in the annealing furnace will produce calcium carbonate, which is insoluble in water, in the bottom of the annealing furnace, and the kettle passes for a long time. The scale of the heat generated by heating is the epitome, the time is long, these precipitates will damage the annealing furnace and even cause the explosion. The detection of the water hardness is an important step in the operation of the annealing furnace, so it is more necessary to add medicine to soften the annealing furnace during the operation of the annealing furnace.

At high temperature, the water film on the heat transfer surface first evaporates by heat and produces bubbles. The bubbles move away from the heat transfer surface and become steam escapes. Under the normal operating conditions of the annealing furnace, only a very small amount of salt is carried in the steam, and the salt concentration in the pot water increases with the continuous production and escape of the steam. The salt of the pot water near the water wall tube is thicker, easily precipitated and deposited easily in the heat of the water wall tube. The insoluble matter in the pot water will also exceed the solubility at its corresponding temperature, which is supersaturated in the pot water. These supersaturated substances meet the impurity particles and are attached to them and grow up, or they form tiny crystalline nuclei, and accumulate and grow on the nucleus to form a scale of water.

Another one is the treatment of dissolved oxygen in water. Dissolved oxygen is one of the main factors that cause corrosion of the water supply equipment and the body of the annealing furnace, especially in the annealing furnace. The larger the evaporation capacity of the annealing furnace, the smaller the volume of the unit water, the more dissolved oxygen on the metal surface in the same time, so it is required that when the rated evaporation rate of the furnace is more than or equal to 6T/H, the annealing furnace whose rated evaporation is less than 6T/H should take the deoxidization measures for the steam turbine for steam turbine. The oxygen content in the feed water of the annealing furnace should be less than equal to 0.05mg/L., and the content of dissolved oxygen in the feed water of the annealing furnace has a great relationship with the corrosion of the water supply system. In order to reduce the corrosion, the dissolved oxygen in the water should also be treated.

The quality of annealing furnace is closely related to our life. Therefore, in order to reduce the damage of water quality to the annealing furnace, we must treat the annealing furnace water.
